Vandeleur Walled Garden & Visitor Centre

The Vandeleur Walled Garden in Kilrush, Co. Clare, spans 0.90 hectares and is entirely enclosed by stone walls.

Originally part of the Vandeleur estate, established in the early 17th century, the garden is now a beautiful amenity for the citizens of Kilrush as well as travellers from both near and far.

Abandoned for many years, it was lovingly redeveloped starting in 1997 and reopened to the public in 2000. The garden features a large hedge maze, adjoined by an iconic triangular labyrinth, and is highlighted by a beautiful purple theme.
