An Díseart
In the heart of Dingle town is an oasis of calm, a biodiversity rich garden surrounding the 19th century neo-Gothic former home of the Presentation Sisters, where you will find windows by Ireland’s greatest stainedglass artist, Harry Clarke set in the small chapel, installed over 100 ago.
During your visit, see the Last Supper Fresco, view the murals of Nano Nagle’s life, before you step outside and walk the labyrinth, sit under the Mountain Ash and Birch trees, stroll through the willow tunnel, finally visiting the nun’s graveyard where the more than a century old copper beech spreads its branches over their final resting place. Tá fáilte romhat.
