Spotlight on Tourism at TU Shannon
The Department of Hospitality, Tourism & Wellness at TU Shannon held a ‘Spotlight on Tourism’ event and invited tourism business leaders to present to their students. It was a lovely morning, with an engaged and interested audience of over 70, with contributions from ITIC Chair Elaina Fitzgerald Kane, General Manager at Lough Gur Kate Harrold, Catherine, tour business owner Ollie Gleeson, and more.
AVEA looks forward to working more closely with TU Shannon and identifying career paths and work experience opportunities for their students and graduates. Congratulations to the superb culinary students who served an outstanding lunch to all the attendees, and thanks to June O’Byrne Prior and Kelly Browne for the invitation to address the next generation of tourism leaders.
