New Report launched on Costs for Tourism Businesses

AVEA recently attended the launch of a Report by economist Jim Power, commissioned by ITIC (Irish Tourism Industry Confederation), which examines the rising costs of doing business which face tourism and hospitality businesses.

It is estimated that payroll costs for the sector will increase by €1.4 billion by 2026. Fáilte Ireland research has already estimated that visitor attraction businesses can expect their wage bill to go up 32% between 2024 and 2026.
