04 Jun 2026 – ‘Meet The Supplier’ at CityNorth Hotel

“The Association hosted its first ever ‘Meet the Supplier’ event on Thursday 4th June. This was the first ever event to put managers and operators of visitor experiences and attractions in face-to-face meetings with trusted suppliers to the sector. Suppliers in attendance ranged from businesses specialising in audioguides, digital tech, fit-out and installation, prop design, merchandise, AR, insurance, and many more.

The event opened with two panel discussions, one from the perspective of visitor attraction stakeholders. This lively panel featured Mary Stack, Head of Product Development – Visitor Attractions, with Fáilte Ireland, Declan Power, SEO with responsibility for tourism and culture with Fingal County Council, and Julianne McKeigue, Events, Education and Retail manager at the GAA Museum in Croke Park. The three guests discussed common mistakes to avoid, intelligent design to optimise visitor experience and revenue streams, and the opportunities that come with collaboration and innovation. The second panel featured Adrian Leonard, Head of Underwriting for Ecclesiastical Insurance, Amy Murphy, Commercial Manager with Shamrock Gift Company, and Evelyn Moynihan, CEO of Kilkenny Design – all three discussed how a trusting partnership approach can enable suppliers to be solutions-providers to assist attraction businesses deal with challenges.

With over 80 businesses in attendance, over 360 meetings were facilitated on the day, by way of ten-minute business speed-dating sessions.
