
04 Jun 2026 – AVEA launches ‘Meet the Supplier’ trade event
The association is delighted to launch a new event to take place on 4th June 2026, at the City North Hotel. It is the first time we will hold a ‘Meet the Supplier’ event for our 140 member businesses (www.avea.ie/members) to meet with current and potential suppliers to the sector.
This will be a targeted event with hand-picked suppliers to ensure a wide variety of business types, welcoming suppliers from ticketing to tech, merchandise, fit-out, AV, audio-guides, payroll, consultancy, uniforms, branding, and more.
The format will be workshop-style with timed 1:1 appointments, and a networking lunch. The workshop will be preceded by two short panel discussions – one looking from the buyers’ perspective, and the second from the supplier side.
AVEA CEO Catherine Flanagan said “Ireland’s visitor attractions and experiences sector employs over 6,000 people and welcomes over 25 million visitors. The sector is geographically dispersed and very varied, and the event has been created to open up opportunities to develop more meaningful relationships so suppliers can better understand our members’ needs – and indeed for members to understand what suppliers can do for them – hopefully to mutual benefit and growth.”
The participation fee for suppliers is €350. Interested businesses should complete this EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (SUPPLIERS) form by Wednesday 6th May.
