AVEA joins Tourism Delegation to Brussels

The Irish Tourism Industry Confederation (ITIC) was invited by MEP Barry Andrews to visit the European Parliament, and AVEA was delighted to be included in the delegation.

It was a super opportunity to learn about the workings of the Parliament and Commission, and to understand more about how Irish legislation is guided by EU decision-making, about the committee structure, and how better to leverage the Irish tourism voice in Europe.

In addition to touring the Parliament and Museum, we took the opportunity to meet with Barry, and with Ming Flanagan MEP.
