AVEA joins the Alliance for Insurance Reform
Insurance has been identified as a recurring challenge for AVEA members – costs, the absence of competition, and the seemingly unending upward motion of premiums, despite recent judicial guidelines which were designed to reduce both the number and the value of claims.
The Alliance for Insurance Reform is a coalition of like-minded representative associations and organisations seeking change in the sector to give better choice, more affordable cover, and lower excesses.
The AVEA board feels that joining the Alliance enables us to be part of a bigger voice lobbying for change, while benefiting from research and shared knowledge.
